I never believed in ghosts or spirits…

I never believed in ghosts or spirits before my visit to Swamp Road 2 years ago! I was dating a boy from Kirkersville at the time, and it was getting close to Halloween and he thought it was a good idea to go show Sally to me. Well, I thought he was completely full of sh.. until we drove out there, parked on the side of the road by a cornfield and walked down the lane between the tree line and corn (it was on your left as you go towards 40). Completely dark; no moon. The only sound was the chirping of crickets. We get about 30 yards down the trail and all of a sudden we start to see this pale green floating disk-looking object in the distance. We slowly walk closer and then stop, because IT WAS COMING TOWARDS US! Not quickly, but quick enough for us to high-tail it back to the truck.... The appearance of it looked like the moon's reflection in a rippling pool of water because it was sort of floating/bouncing... that's what I thought it was at first- thing is, there was absolutely no moon out that night. And it hadn't rain recently... It moved towards us as if it were curious about what we were. Not consistently coming closer, but in little increments. I can remember my heart POUNDING in my chest as we took off in his truck and I couldn't hold my hands still I was shaking so bad- the adrenaline rush is unbelievable! Hands down the creepiest thing I've ever encountered. Needless to say I now am a firm believer in the paranormal. I'm not sure if it was Sally or not, but who cares, it was cool :) Wish I had gotten a picture but I figured it would make whatever it was mad. Has anyone else ever shared a story of a floating disk object?

(Editor’s Note: Some researchers believe that the electrical impulses that fire between the synapses of our brains continues to exist after a person’s death and are the explanation for the “orbs” some report seeing on Swamp Road and other supernaturally active sites. No one else has reported a disk shaped phenomenon, though many, many orbs have been seen and photographed.)
